Former UC Product Tony Campana Makes MLB Debut

Last night at Great American Ballpark, former Cincinnati Bearcat Tony Campana made his big league debut for the Chicago Cubs. Tony entered the game as a pinch runner, where he promptly scored a run. In his first at bat an inning later, Campana pulled a double into right field that scored a run. His moment was kind of ruined because the Cubs played like the Cubs in the bottom of the 8th, and the Reds won. Campana was a 13th round pick in 2008. He's the all time leader in steals for the Bearcat program, with 104. Congratulations to him. Also, a late congrats to Brian Cleary, the UC coach, who picked up win 392 over the weekend. That's a UC record.
Quick note, Bearcats Blog will be at the Reds game tonight. If you want to meet up and give me a hug that lasts a second and a half too long, or money, or beer, or just all of your earthly possessions, send me a message on twitter and I'll say hi. It'll be fun for everyone.
