Bearcats Big East Mirror Opponents and Schedule Announced.

The Big East announced the schedules for league play this afternoon. Since there are 15 teams, UC plays 4 mirror opponennts. That means they play each of them home and home. Those 4 teams are Connecticut, Pittsburgh, Notre Dame and Rutgers. Here is the schedule from GoBearcats. Dates and start times come later.

The road schedule looks especially daunting. Louisville is being tabbed a top 3 team. Cincinnati hasn't played at Louisville in 2 years. UC also goes to Syracuse and Seton Hall, places they haven't won much. I'm very excited that the Cats don't play St John's twice. I can only stand 58-54 games once a season. Although the second game was very fun to watch.

I'm going to go out on a limb and predict the first home game and first road game. I think UC hosts Villanova first and will travel to Rutgers first. If I'm wrong, you'll never know because I won't bring it up. If I'm right, you'll never hear the end of it.
